Building Science core services as applicable (Building Science investigation, building envelope design for existing buildings, concrete/masonry rehabilitation, building condition assessments & capital planning/asset management, condominium management support and related services)
Investigations, assessments, design and administering rehabilitation work
Preparing proposals, reports, summarizing data, and contract documents
Client development and marketing
Supervising, training and mentoring of junior staff, including review of written work
Maintaining and enhancing quality control within the group
Financial involvement in projects
Any other job related duties that may be assigned from time to time
A college diploma in the field related to Building Science, Building Performance, or Building Systems Engineering is required.
Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering related to Building Science or Bachelor of Architectural Science is preferred.
Experience in Project Management, Building Condition Assessments, building construction and rehabilitation is required.
Licensed with the Professional Engineers Ontario (P.Eng) is preferred.
Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and must possess a high level of verbal and written communication skills which are essential to the position.
This position requires work related travel. Therefore, a valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work-related travel expenses will be compensated).
