Maintenance Planner

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures the continuous operation of all plant equipment and machinery in terms of preventative maintenance scheduling, parts inventory, supporting documentation and scheduling of external contractors for additional support as required.
  • Responsible to coordinate the daily departmental activities in order to improve plant equipment productivity and reliability in all areas.
  • Following and complying with Cube Management Systems (CMS)
  • Develop and maintain the Preventative Maintenance Program and ensure it meets safety, quality, productivity, food safety and budget requirements.
  • Measure, monitor and analyze equipment reliability with the objective of improving overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Plan, schedule and follow-up on maintenance activities to reduce unplanned maintenance and implement methods to reduce occurrences.
  • Assign and follow up with the team daily to ensure work orders and other tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain safe environment and work methods in keeping with Company, MOL and OSHA and other applicable standards.
  • Organize the records of inspection and calibration of machinery and equipment.
  • Report and maintain compliance with monthly maintenance budget. Generate reports and update maintenance KPIs as required for management.
  • Maintain parts inventory, establish minimum stock levels, and order parts as necessary. Track cost accordingly.
  • Supervise contractors as required to ensure they adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure completion of work orders in a timely manner.
  • Support Cube commitment to Continuous Improvement through identifying and implementing ways to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost savings.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technical field
  • 2-5 years experience scheduling and maintaining maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment using CMMS software.
  • Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and knowledge
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have a sense of urgency when assigned tasks
  • Must be self-motivated with strong command of verbal and written English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Flexible to work weekends and overtime as required
